A JOURNEY LIKE NO OTHER

Bhutan 2026 will be our third Adventure in Bhutan (2019 and 2022 were our last Adventures there).

This time we will be doing a very different itinerary, heading to a remote community in the Himalayas for four days, then returning to the Paro and Thimphu valleys for immersion into monastic life, with a dose of Bhutanese luxury.

As with all Wayfinders Adventures, the exact details of our itinerary will remain hidden.

The LODGING

OUR LODGING

At Wayfinders Bhutan we will have a mix of basic accommodations while in the Himalayas, and luxury accommodations while in the Paro and Thimphu valleys.

Default room - at Basic level (see below) is 2/room. Plus level features single accommodation.

MEMBER PROGRAMMING

Our member programming - the rich experiences that happen between Adventures - is being thoughtfully redesigned based on member feedback and the shifting world around us.

Starting in 2025, member programming will be exclusively available to Adventure participants and alumni.

Attending a Wayfinders Adventure will become the only way to join the community and access our ongoing programming. This is by design: our best work and best connections happen when we begin in person, in nature, and on purpose; we deepen from there.

We’re also simplifying and focusing our programming around three core pillars that reflect what’s needed most in the years ahead:

A monthly 90-minute call with Mike (plus guest guides and facilitators)
Two full-day, in-person gatherings in Toronto (June Adventure day + December holiday party)

Important Details and FAQ

You can, and should! Attending Wayfinders Mongolia will have numerous positive impacts on your business.
We label our Receipts ‘Executive Coaching Retreat’ to make them a little more accountant/CRA/IRS-friendly.
Your spot on Wayfinders Bhutan includes:
- 9 days of epic adventure in one of the most remote places on Earth
- 9 nights of lodging during the adventure in rural guest houses and luxury lodges
- All meals, from dinner on Oct. 8 to breakfast on Oct. 17
- All transportation during the Adventure
- 2 skilled, experienced facilitators
- Large support staff
Wayfinders is for bold, adventurous entrepreneurs who consistently invest in themselves, their knowledge and their networks - and like to have a ton of fun and challenge themselves while doing it.
Our typical Explorer is an entrepreneur aged 35-55, North America-based, and leading a company in the $750K to $5M annual revenue range. We generally have about a 50-50 gender split at our Experiences.
No experience is required, although reasonable physical fitness is a prerequisite. You should be able to hike for 5 to 7 hours at a moderate pace.
We are still awaiting the flight schedules into Paro, Bhutan for 2026, so the following schedule is tentative and may move forward or back by a day. We should know by October 2025.
Our meeting point will be in Bangkok, with our first group dinner on Oct. 07. We expect to fly to Paro the morning of Oct. 08, and return to Bangkok on Oct. 17.
Basic level includes shared rooming (2/room) in guest houses and luxury lodges.
Plus and Premium level include single rooming at the guest houses and lodges.
You will be provided with a detailed packing list 8 weeks prior to the event, and a final weather-dependent list just prior to the event.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancel within 72 hours: full refund
- Cancellations with 6 months’ notice: 50% refund*
- Cancellations with less than 6 months’ notice: no refund*
*if you can find a suitable person to take your spot (subject to vetting by Mike), then you are welcome to transfer your spot and make your own financial arrangements with that person.
Because of the limited rooming available at Tweedsmuir Park Lodge, we will have no availability on Wayfinders: GBR for partners and kids.
If you are interested in bringing your partner and/or kids, please let us know and we’ll put you on a list for when we run a family event.
Giving our all to our kids is part of being a parent. But sacrificing our needs is not the ideal way to serve our families.
Taking time to take care of your own needs and desires, and getting clarity on those needs and desires, far outweighs the short-term impact of being away from your family for 10-12 days.
That said, we get it and no one said it was easy. But there’s a high likelihood you will come back a happier, clearer and more energized parent and/or spouse.
