JUNE 26-29, 2025

Wayfinders: GREAT BEAR RAINFOREST

Join your fellow entrepreneurs and Wayfinders in the spectacular Great Bear Rainforest of coastal British Columbia for an incredible, intimate 4-day/3-night experience that's equal parts adventure, boundary-pushing, learning, and connection.

The Great Bear Rainforest is one of the most spectacular and mystical areas on Earth, laced with spectacular coastline, soaring mountains, and remote, mysterious valleys. It’s also home to dense populations of grizzly bears, as well as moose, grizzlies and caribou.

What's in store at Wayfinders: Great Bear Rainforest? Four days of incredible adventures, immersion into local First Nations cultures, curated sharing and connection at our spectacular resort, incredible meals, a lifetime of memories and friendships, membership in the Wayfinders community, and a big dose of the unexpected and magical.

Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing at all.

THE WAYFINDERS MODEL

The start of a journey…

Wayfinders: Great Bear Rainforest is so much more than a trip or a travel experience or an adventure. It is all of that, but it is also the start of a journey: one into connection, community, self-exploration and growth.

  • Connection to an incredible and supportive community of entrepreneurs

  • Deeper alignment, clarity and authenticity via the Wayfinders process

  • Ongoing support before, during and after the event to help you live your most authentic and fulfilling life, via our community membership and programming, included free ($2000 CAD value)

  • In-depth learning and personal development through guided facilitation exercises and workshops (the theme for this Retreat is ‘Future-Proof Leadership’)

A colorful Venn diagram with three overlapping circles labeled Community, Challenge, and Culture. The overlapping area in the center is labeled Profound Clarity.

What you’ll GET is profound clarity:
clarity on the community that inspires you, the courage to live in full alignment, and the confidence to lead with unwavering purpose.

OUR EXPERIENCE Model

our Experience delivery model, designed for maximum impact:

Community: We’ll connect you with an incredible community of growth-minded, big-hearted and humble entrepreneurs.

Challenge: Once your boundaries are stretched, they’re stretched forever: you learn what you’re truly capable of.

Culture: You’ll immerse deeply with ancient First Nations cultures and wisdom, and take home valuable lessons and perspective shifts.

CONNECTION

Community & Connection

Community is at the heart of a Wayfinders experience.

Connection with your fellow entrepreneurs happens through adventure, downtime and conversations, as well as facilitated group experiences and dialogues led by Mike, a trained facilitator (Xchange Approach, Ten Directions) with many years of experience in facilitating powerful group outcomes.

You’ll have the opportunity to go wide (connect with everyone) and deep (you’ll be placed in smaller groups of 2 to 4 throughout the event).

You’ll have opportunities to connect with your fellow Wayfinders prior to the event, as well as ongoing connection afterwards via your free community membership.

Future-Proof Leadership:

Finding Clarity and Confidence in Uncertain Times

THEME: FUTURE-PROOF LEADERSHIP

All Wayfinders Experiences involve a significant component of learning and personal development, via guided facilitation.

The world is evolving faster than ever, challenging leaders to navigate uncertainty with courage and vision. At this retreat, we’ll explore how to align personal clarity with business strategies, equipping you to lead with confidence amidst constant change.

Through powerful personal leadership stories, guided introspection, and actionable planning, you’ll discover how to thrive—not just survive—in uncertain times.

We’ll also have an in-depth workshop on how to leverage AI for maximum benefit: not for writing emails or social media posts, but as an incredible strategic thought partner that will serve as the most powerful advisory board in history for you and your business. Prepare to have your mind blown.

Collaborative Growth

Learn and grow alongside fellow leaders. Share challenges, exchange insights, and create meaningful connections that foster accountability and inspiration long after the retreat ends.

Strategic Resilience

Equip yourself with tools to thrive. From adaptive planning to stress management, you’ll leave with actionable strategies to future-proof your leadership and business.

CHALLENGE & ADVENTURE

Challenge and Adventure are always centre stage

At Wayfinders: Great Bear Rainforest, adventures will take place in the coastal mountains of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, a stunning protected area near the coastal inlet at Bella Coola.

We do adventure the Wayfinders way: with plenty of challenge, lots of connection with your fellow participants, and heaps of fun and adrenaline. Activities are led by professional local guides and you always have the option to join a group at your desired adrenaline/fitness levels.

CULTURE

CULTURE: THE Nuxalk & Ulkatcho First Nations

Culture is the third and final component of the Wayfinders model. We believe that ancient cultures - ones that have endured for millennia - have something important to offer us about how to live life in this world and on this planet.

At Wayfinders: Great Bear Rainforest we’ll spend time and learn with the locals of the Nuxalk & Ulkatcho First Nations. The people in this area have lived here for thousands of years and have a rich, thriving culture that offers much to willing learners.

OUR HOME

TWEEDSMUIR PARK Lodge

Our home for this retreat will be the remote and spectacular Tweedsmuir Park Lodge, set amongst the wilderness of the Great Bear Rainforest, one of the most biodiverse and rich marine and land environments on Earth.

We’ll have the lodge all to ourselves (with an attentive staff of course), enjoying access to spectacular wilderness, frequent animal visitors, delicious cuisine, and the company of an incredible group of entrepreneurs and explorers to share it all with.

  • Wayfinders is for bold, adventurous entrepreneurs who consistently invest in themselves, their knowledge and their networks - and like to have a ton of fun and challenge themselves while doing it.

Our typical Explorer is an entrepreneur aged 35-55, North America-based, and leading a company in the $750K to $5M annual revenue range. We generally have about a 50-50 gender split at our Experiences.

  • Wayfinders: GBR will feature a multitude of incredible land and water-based outdoor activities, including mountain treks, wildlife viewing, river floats or fishing, and other activities (that will remain a surprise!)

No experience is required, although reasonable physical fitness and a willingness to take on challenges are a prerequisite. For all activities, we will be splitting up according to skill level - from mild to wild - so you can participate at the level you want to participate at.

All activities are optional - if you feel like ducking out of a particular activity and chilling at the resort, you're welcome to do so.

  • A typical day (if there is such a thing on a Wayfinders experience) will look like this:

    • Morning yoga or breathwork at 6 am

    • Breakfast at 7 am

    • Outdoor adventures start at 8 am

    • Return to the lodge by 1:00/2:00 pm

    • Reflection, exercises, workshops and group dialogues from 2:30 to 5:00 pm

    • Chill time from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm

    • Group dinner at 6:30 pm

    • Evening talks at 8:30 pm

    • 9:30 pm onwards: drinks and shenanigans

NOTE: Our itineraries are a surprise, we don’t reveal details. You’ll get a detailed packing list before the event and instructions about what to wear/bring the next day during the event, but other than that… prepare for surprises :)

  • Our meeting point will be Vancouver airport on June 26, 2025 - you need to get there by 10:30 am in order to catch our group flight to Bella Coola at 12:00 pm.

We’ll return to Vancouver airport by 11:45 am on Sunday, so that the east-coasters can get home at a reasonable hour. If there are enough people who aren’t in a rush to get back to Vancouver, we will schedule a later flight out of Bella Coola to give you more time at the lodge.

  • Lodging is at the beautiful Tweedsmuir Park Lodge. The default arrangement is 2/cabin, however, there are 4 single room upgrades available at a cost of $3500 USD.

NOTE: We will have this beautiful resort all to ourselves!

  • You will be provided with a detailed packing list 4 weeks prior to the event, and a final weather-dependent list just prior to the event.

  • Once you’re booked, you’re booked, and no refunds are available (we want people who are fully committed to the event and the community, and aren’t going to let ‘busyness’ get in the way of a life-transforming experience). Things happen, of course, so for that reason, we strongly recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Although we cannot offer a refund, if we can find someone to take your spot (which is likely - demand tends to far exceed supply) then you can get a full refund.

  • Because of the limited rooming available at Tweedsmuir Park Lodge, we will have no availability on Wayfinders: GBR for partners and kids.

If you are interested in bringing your partner and/or kids, please let us know and we’ll put you on a list for when we run a family event.

  • Click on the link below to reserve your spot for Wayfinders: Great Bear Rainforest.

Curation is a vital aspect of our community-building, so if you’re new to Wayfinders, you’ll be asked to schedule a short interview to ensure you’re a good fit for Wayfinders and we’re a good fit for what you’re looking for.

During that interview, if either of us decide that it’s not a good fit, you’ll get your money back.

If we decide it’s a good fit, then we’ll welcome you to the Wayfinders community and enter you into our onboarding process so you can start getting value right away!

It was a lifetime experience across the board.
